Vacman Cleaning continues to grow apace signing
3 new contracts for cleaning services in February.
Unison, Morrison Construction and Morris Education
have joined the growing number of successful
organisations who look to Vacman to provide
a hassle fre, reliable cleaning services at
a competitive price. Unison, Europes biggest
public sector union with 1.3 million members
wil depend upon Vacman to carry out cleaning
of their Highland area offices. Morrison Construction
a regular client of Vacman are currently involved
in a large regenenration project with Scottish
Water ( another long standing client) and have
entered ino an agreement with Vacman who will
provide cleaning services at 2 major construction
sites in the Highlands.
Morris Education is part of the Morris Furniture
Group one of the UK's largest furintiure manufacturers.
Vacman will provide daily office cleaning services
at their headquarters in Glenrothes.

Arson Attack
Vacman operatives have
carried out major fire restoration work at Southwood
Primary School in Glenrothes following a suspected
arson attack. Fife Police Officers are
appealing for information about the fire which
occurred on 6th December. The fire extensively
damaged the nursery department of the school
and police are now treating the fire as suspicious.
Detective Inspector Andrew Girdwood said "We
are interested to speak to anyone who may have
information about the fire. A group of youths
aged between 12-16years old were seen to be
in the grounds of the school close to the time
the fire was discovered". If anyone has

Awards for Vacman
Vacman Cleaning has ended 2007 on a high note,
maintaining their place as the UK's most successful
cleaning contractor at the National Loo of the
Years Awards. Appropriately for 20th Anniversary
of the competition Vacman cleaners lifted 20
awards at the ceremony which was held at the
National Motor Cycle Museum, Birmingham. The
awards ensured that Highland Council maintained
its top position in the league table of Local
Authorities for the fourth year in a row. The
coveted Attendant of the Year Award went to
the cleaners at Mitchell Lane PC's, Alness while
the best non Attended PC Award was received
for Ormidale Place, Dingwall. The Standards
of Excellence Award was presented to the company
for consistently maintaining a high standard
of management in their award entries.
Individual awards were received for the following

Mallaig, Muir of Ord, Rogie Falls
Commenting upon the awards Managing Director
of Vacman Cleaning, Neil Montgomery, said, "This
is a very welcome recognition of the consistently
high quality of service provided by our incredibly
hard-working cleaning teams. So often they are
the unsung heroines and heros of public buildings;
we are enormously proud of their work, and thrilled
to see that their efforts are again publicly
acknowledged by these awards.”
