Vacman Cleaning Ltd has today concluded the
purchase of office and industrial premises in
Glenrothes, Fife. The move is part of a planned
relocation of the company's administrative functions
to central Scotland. Commenting on the move
Neil Montgomery, Managing Director of Vacman
said, "Our operations in Central Scotland
continue to develop very quickly and the demand
for our services continues to grow. In the last
year alone the company has experienced a 70%
increase in turnover and our current premises
could no longer support our operations. Central
Scotland has made a significant contribution
towards this rapid growth. We have received
a tremendous amount of support since we started
operating in Fife and we felt it was only right
to show our long term commitment to the area
through this purchase.
The investment in our new premises in the Whitehill
Industrial Estate not only provides us with
an excellent base to service our current contracts
in central Scotland, we now have the much needed
office and industrial space we require to support
our operations in the Highlands and north east
of Scotland". Glenrothes' unique central
position allows us to confidently develop the
sevices we can offer to three of Scotlands major
cities. Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Dundee can all
be reached within an hour of our new base and
this will provide us with significant opportunites
to expand and create cleaning and adminstrative
jobs. Clearly, we are disappointed to be unable
to offerany of the administrative jobs that
this move will create in Portree but, we continue
to work along with our Local Enterpise Company
to try resolve the issues we have highlighted
in the past regarding suitable premises.
